The Great Rift Valley as originally described extends from Lebanon in the north to Mozambique in the south, and constitutes one of two distinct physiographic provinces of the East African Highlands physiographic division.
The Great Rift Valley is perched on the side of the Eburu Escarpment, overlooking Lake Naivasha and the sweeping floor of the world's largest valley.A spectacular view opens up with the land dropping dramatically from conifer forests to dry and dusty plains way below.
